Ideas for next time

Setup: 15 girls split in 3 groups à 5 persons

Time was too short to manage the tasks. Most of the girls wished to extend it. The time was from 9-12.30h but university advert-block was till 10.15h, we picked them up and could start with our presentation at 10.30h. Shall we extend the finishing time?

another problem: it seems that it’s meanwhile mandatory to participate, if we have a shorter workshop maybe more girls registered that just want to be home early?

Ideas for improvement:

• electronics: split PCB in 2 part, that 2-3 girls can solder one H-bridge each. This time there were 3 girls working on soldering, 2 were bored…

• CAD: split group in 2 parts and let them work on one component each. Maybe give some parts/help in advance to speed up the process.

Order the prints of the document more in advance.
