- Set the wave gen to sine-waveform, f=100Hz and an amplitude of 1.9V, no offset.
- Make sure, that both channels you're measuring with are set to AC coupling.
- Set the trigger appropriately. The signals are displayed stable, if the trigger is set correctly.
- Add the frequency phase shift measurement using the Meas-button, the frequency it can be read at the bottom of the screen.
- Use the cursors or the amplitude measurement function to measure the amplitude of the two signals. Please make sure that you are always considering the same type of value - either an amplitude or a peak-to-peak value. The names used in the oscilloscope control can be confusing!
Resonance-Measurement:
- Connect your setup as explained in the experiment. Then start the wave gen with a sine-waveform, an amplitude of 1.9V and a frequency of 100Hz.
- Now watch how the signal is changing, once you slowly increase the wave gen frequency
