Test Bench and Impedance Phantom for Wireless Impedance-Sensor Development

Test Bench and Impedance Phantom for Wireless Impedance-Sensor Development

Offizieller Titel Deutsch Prüfstand und Impedanzphantom für die Entwicklung drahtloser Impedanzsensoren

Official Titel English: Test Bench and Impedance Phantom for Wireless Impedance-Sensor Development

Task Description / Aufgabenstellung

## Description This project builds a characterized test bench: reference impedance networks spanning the wet and dry substrate ranges, and a controlled-moisture substrate cell, both referenced to a laboratory impedance analyzer as ground truth. It gives the project a repeatable stand-in for the substrate impedance, so measurements and architectures can be compared without running the reactor. Two phantoms are needed for two jobs. An electrical reference load validates that the measurement chain reads a known impedance correctly. A physical substrate cell validates what is actually measured, including the wet to dry signal. ## Sub-tasks ### Previous tasks - The substrate impedance range was characterized in wet and dry states. ### Current tasks - Obtain the substrate impedance ranges and laboratory analyzer access. ### Objectives and possible tasks - Design reference resistor and capacitor networks covering the wet and dry ranges and their frequency behavior; characterize them against a laboratory analyzer. - Build a controlled-moisture cell holding the real substrate; instrument moisture and temperature. - Document a repeatable test protocol and a reusable measurement fixture for the architecture project.
